The former Miss Gozy Andrea Ekeh got married on Saturday, Feb. 2nd, 2013, to Mr.Tolulope Kolawole Ijogun. The Solemnization of Holy Matrimony took place at Our Lady of Perpertual Help (Catholic) Church, Victoria Island, Lagos. Bishop
Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Diocese of Sokoto, joined the couple in marriage. He was assisted by the pastor, Very Rev. Father Henry Omonisaye and his associate, Rev. Father Terseer Emmanuel Ubi. The groom, a Chartered Accountant, received a B.Sc degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Louborough University, United Kingdom. He is the son of Mr. Siji Ijogun (Chairperson of Ackmed Nigeria Limited and Mayor’s Court Estates), and his wife, Olusola Ijogun, nee Agbede, a businesswoman. The bride, who holds a B.Sc degree in Chemistry from the University of London and a Masters in Accounting from The London School of Economics, is the daughter of Mr. Leo-Stan Ekeh (founder and Chairperson of ZINOX Group), and his wife, Chioma Christiana Ekeh, nee Emelonye (Managing Director, Technology Distributions Limited). Following the nuptial ceremony at church, as soon as guests arrived at the reception, they walked through a decadent entrance tunnel towards the Expo Centre of Eko Hotel. We have to say that Gozy and Tolu’s wedding was absolutely magnificent! Music performances by Tiwa Savage, Naeto C and Iyanya added even more flavour to the festivities as everyone got up and grooved along! Ali Baba provided comic relief and Chido Obidiegwu was the Master of Ceremonies. A very classy reception was held at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, also on Victoria Island. The founder of Diamond Bank Plc. and Chairperson of MTN Nieria, Mr. Pascal Dozie, chaired the occasion. Irrespective of the wedding being over 1000 people strong, what stood out most was the intimate feel and a true sense of love and unification was in the air as the university sweethearts entered the next chapter in their lives.
